Question about continuing support.

This is for family law in Ontario.  The support payor has been paying support through family responsibility office.  My boy is now in university.  The support payor does not want to pay anymore and has ask for proof of education, which is ok.  The thing that i don't like is that his lawyer is looking for my t-4 and proof of my income.  Do I have to send that in?   I feel that it is an invasion of privacy.  Our support was done 20 years ago and he has always paid less than the required amounts.

Is it imperative to show my t-4's and proof of income?  As wll, i just found a letter from the lawyer on my doorstep...no signing from my or anything.  I think that it was there a week.  Is this right?  I would expect a registered letter anyways.
